What kind of products does Autowash use on my vehicle?

We have gone to extreme lengths to make sure that Autowash has the best soaps available to provide a safe clean that gets the job done, and never uses any acids.

 

Most car washes use harmful, aggressive chemicals and detergents to burn dirt off quickly. Some of the other chemicals are acids and what we know about acids is that they keep working until they are neutralized. Going through fast washes, those acids are not 100% neutralized, so some of it keeps working and can cause long-term damage with repeated exposure and longer periods of time.

 

If you’ve heard that touchless car washes have to use acids (usually from your detailer or a car group), that is mostly true – except at Autowash, where you can always count on our soaps to be acid free thanks to great chemists who create the propriety Autowash blends. Most gas station washes, express tunnels, and car washes that highlight how “fast” they are, are using acids to speed up the process to get more cars through faster.

 

Instead, Autowash created our own line of soaps for our car washes. It costs a little more to do the right thing, but this is an area where we refuse to cut corners! After all, isn’t your car worth the good stuff?

 

Another area where Autowash separates is our spot-free water. Most car washes don’t use true spot-free water, and it’s a choice. Spot-free water doesn’t move as fast off of the car drying, so some car washes will use untreated water to the wash dries faster. We chose to make sure we use 99.995% mineral-free water so that we never leave hard water spots on the vehicle – even if that means that a few extra drops of water are left on the car, they are safe.

What are the individual automatic wash options?
Autowash currently has four different individual touchless automatic car wash levels to choose from. These include:

ESSENTIAL WASH - Have attachments on your vehicle? This wash is for you. The Essential car wash option provides a high-pressure wash to dislodge dirt from the undercarriage and your paint, then it finishes with a spot-free rinse to reduce spotting. This wash level is attachment-friendly for our customers with rooftop boxes, racks, and other attachments. The Essential car wash option is available in the Basic Wash Club or as a single wash purchase at $12 per wash. The Essential Wash does not include contouring or drying. 

Essential car wash includes: Undercarriage wash, high pressure wash, and spot-free rinse.

COMPLETE PLUS - The Complete Plus car wash option provides all the care your car needs to keep it shining, with our undercarriage wash, presoak, high-pressure washing, spot-free water, and contour drying. Clear coat wax provides a temporary boost to gloss and protection to keep your ride shining until your next visit! ​The Complete Plus car wash option is available in the Classic Membership or as a single wash purchase at $18 per wash.

Complete Plus car wash includes: Undercarriage wash, high pressure wash, spot-free rinse, double pre-soak, clear coat wax, and contour dryers.

SUPERIOR PLUS - The Superior Plus car wash with Ceramic Infused Chemistry  option features our Stamina Ceramic finish in combination with our premium non-corrosive cleaners, true spot-free water, and proprietary touchless process to deliver a superior wash experience.​ The Superior Plus car wash is available in the Classic Membership or as a single wash purchase at $22 per wash.

Superior Plus car wash includes:  
Undercarriage wash, high pressure wash, spot-free rinse, double pre-soak, clear coat wax, contour dryers, Complete Crush foaming soap, and Stamina Ceramic finish.

INCREDIBLE WASH -  The Incredible Wash featuring Graphene Infused Chemistry car wash option takes advantage of the latest advances in surface protection to provide incredible water beading, gloss, and longer-lasting results. The incredible wash features all the same premium touch-free, non-corrosive clean you've come to expect from Autowash but finishes everything off with a layer of graphene for results you can see and feel! The Incredible Wash car wash option is available exclusively in the Incredible Membership or as a single wash purchase at $25 per wash.

Incredible car wash includes: 
 Undercarriage wash, high pressure wash, spot-free rinse, double pre-soak, clear coat wax, contour dryers, Complete Crush foaming soap, Stamina Ceramic finish, and Graphene infused protection.
Does each wash include an undercarriage wash?
Yes, all of our wash levels include the undercarriage wash. The Superior Plus and Incredible Wash levels also add our unique protectant to the undercarriage to prevent corrosion. At select Autowash locations you have the option to add 2X undercarriage which doubles the time for even more cleaning.
Do the Automatic Bays ever close?
The bays will shut down automatically at 20 degrees Fahrenheit for safety. Doors open and close automatically. Autowash locations are open 24 hours, 365 days per year. However, at select locations, Autowash may be required to limit after-hours activity due to local rules or regulations. Is Autowash safe for my ceramic coated car?
Autowash is certified ceramic coating safe! Our non-corrosive soaps and touchless cleaning process have been extensively tested to be perfectly safe for your ceramic coating. With the addition of ceramic and graphene infused chemistry in our top-level washes, Autowash can even provide a temporary boost in coating performance every time you visit the wash.
Is Autowash safe for my car with PPF/clear bra?
YES! Our non-corrosive chemicals and touchless process are 100% safe for paint protection film materials. If your PPF is damaged or peeling we recommend you do not use our automatic washes

Is the app only for members?

NO! Anyone can use the Autowash app, member or not. If you're not ready for membership the app makes your visits to Autowash convenient and easy. No fumbling for cash or swiping your credit card. Simply open the app and make your wash selection. Best of all, every single dollar spent in the app earns you loyalty points that can be redeemed for additional savings! If you join our membership program, the app is required to access your member benefits.

How does the Autowash App work?

When you download the Autowash App, you get full access to all Autowash car wash locations. The app knows your location so all you have to do is visit an Autowash location, open the app, tap "Get A Wash" and follow the prompts. Remember, you must be at a wash location to get your wash.

The app lets you pay-per-wash as a non-member and automatically earn loyalty points. If you wash often then you can join a membership level that suits your washing needs and wash up to once every day for one low monthly price. Any car, any location, any day!

The app is ready to use for Self-Serve, Automatic, Vacuums, Dog Washes, and the Express Wash.

Be sure to carefully read all the screens your first time through until you get the hang of it, we really tried to make it very simple to use! If you ever have a question about the app, give our friendly Customer Success Team a call or text at 303-927-9061 and they'll be happy to assist.

Once I download the app, will I be able to use it at any of your Autowash Car Wash locations?

Yes, the Autowash App can be used at any of our Autowash Car Wash locations for purchasing a single wash or managing your membership. You can always open the app to view promotions, purchase prepaid washes, check your loyalty points balance, update your payment method, view your wash history, play games, and more. The only functions that don't work until you're at an Autowash location is activating the wash, vacuums, dog wash, etc.

Does the Autowash app have a fee?

The Autowash app is FREE to download and use. You will be required to enter a payment method to complete your account setup, but nothing is charged until you make a purchase. If you decide to join our membership program you will be billed every 30 days for your selected membership level.

Can I use my Autowash App with more than one vehicle?

Yes! You can use the app with more than one vehicle, you just need to have your phone with you when you visit the Autowash location. Remember, you can only wash once per day with the membership plan, but if you need additional washes they are available to purchase in the app.

How does the Garage work?

The garage is a fun feature to personalize the app and customize your Autowash experience. You may add as many vehicles as needed to your plan. Adding vehicles does NOT limit your membership, you may still wash any vehicle, at any location, on any day.

Does the App include Self-Serve washing?

Yes. You can use the Self-Serve bays to wash your car using the app. Open the app, select self-serve, follow the prompts enter or scan your code and the bay is all yours. Press the 'stop' button twice to turn the bay off when you are finished.

Does the App include Dog washing?

Yes. You are able to use the Dog Wash stations through the app. The app provides multiple 15-minute codes for you to use the dog wash bay, just enter or scan your code, and the dog wash is all yours. Follow all posted instructions and press the 'stop' button to turn the bay off when you are finished.

How do I use the vacuums through the app?

You can get vacuum codes as you need, all you have to do is select Vacuum from the menu in the app! Then enter the code on the vacuum. Each code gives you 4 minutes of vacuum time. If you visit one of our  cashless vacuum locations vacuums are even easier! Open the app, select vacuum, and follow the prompts to scan the QR code on the vacuum. Our advanced app technology will know which vacuum you want to use and turn it on for you.

Can I advertise in the Autowash app? How does it work?

MEMBERSHIP

How do I sign up for an Autowash membership?

Easy! Click here Or download our app on any Apple or Android device. Select become a member then follow the prompts to sign up. It's as simple as that. Plus, it’s easy to upgrade or cancel your plan. You can check the status of your account in the User Settings section of the app.

Are there any other benefits to my membership besides washing my car?

In addition to access to all the benefits of washing your car at Autowash locations, membership includes exclusive perks and access to discounts. We partner with other local businesses to provide you with unique perks you won't find anywhere else, including discounts on services, dining, chances to win premium tickets to Rockies and Broncos games, early access to Autowash events like car shows, and more! The Autowash member perks are changing all the time and are available only in the app to current members.

Can I share my membership?

The membership is limited to (1) mobile device per user. You can share your membership with one friend or family member by signing up for our wash-and-share program and paying the additional fee. It does not provide any additional washes daily, but it allows your membership to be accessed by an additional person using their mobile device.

How does the Wash-and-Share program work?

The Autowash Wash-and-Share program allows you, the Member, to add one additional user to your account.
 

By using the Wash-and-Share program, the additional user added to your account will be able to use your membership, including the daily wash allowance. In addition to the daily wash, shared users will be able to purchase additional washes using the payment method associated with the account. By adding Wash-and-Share program users to your membership account, you give them express permission to use the wash and/or pay for additional services using your payment method on file and you agree to be responsible for any transactions created by your family plan.
 

 

The Wash-and-Share program is still subject to the 1 car wash per day limit per account. The shared user does not add any additional washes to the account. The Wash-and-Share program user added to the account will have access to the use of the car wash. That means that both members of the Wash-and-Share program plan share the single included member wash per day. Once the first member of the plan uses the daily free wash, the remaining users of the plan will need to either purchase additional washes to use it on the same day or wait until the following day to use the daily wash. The daily wash clock resets at 11:59 pm each night.
 

Each user is required to comply with the safety signage and app agreements whether displayed at the car wash or in the mobile app.
 

Wash-and-Share program members will be able to purchase additional washes in a day at the current Member Pricing Discount of 25%.
 

The addition of a shared user to your Membership will result in a prorated increase in your monthly amount and will be calculated and presented to you before finalizing the transaction.

 

Pay-Per-Wash transactions are also presented to the user with the discount applied before finalizing the transaction. Until the Purchase button has been selected, users may exit/cancel out of the process at any time by hitting the back button on their device or selecting a back arrow. No refunds will be given for pay-per-wash transactions.
 

You may remove a Wash-and-Share program user at any time and the fee will be automatically prorated by the payment processor.
 

Users who already have a pre-existing subscription may not be added to the Wash-and-Share program while that subscription is active. Refunds will not be provided for canceled membership subscriptions under the normal terms and conditions of that membership.
 

The terms of the Wash-and-Share program are superseded by the overall Autowash Terms and Conditions.

INCREDIBLE MEMBERSHIP – $49.99 / Month -Includes all the benefits of our Basic and Classic Membership levels, plus access to our INCREDIBLE WASH featuring state-of-the-art Graphene-infused chemistry for additional gloss and protection.

What is the Autowash Basic Wash Plan?

Due to some limitations of our automatic wash equipment, we must restrict the wash levels for any vehicle with attachments that extend more than 6" from the factory frame of the vehicle. This includes but is not limited to, roof racks, rear-mounted spare tires, bike racks, large trailer hitches, large spoilers, and similar items. If your vehicle features these types of attachments you are restricted to the Essential Wash only to protect your vehicle and our equipment from damage, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the benefits of a membership.

 

Our Basic Wash Plan includes access to the Essential Wash Level only and free vacuum usage for a reduced monthly fee. Does not include self-serve wash or dog wash. If you're interested in the Basic Wash Plan you can join in the Autowash app! Compare membership plans.

What is the Autowash Classic Membership?

Our most popular membership level includes upgraded wash levels COMPLETE PLUS and SUPERIOR PLUS washes with ceramic infused protection. CLEARANCE & VEHICLE SIZES

How wide is TOO wide?

The Automatic Bays have a maximum width of 8'0" (96 inches). Because of the movement of our wash, just fitting through the door may not be enough.

 

Please read all caution signs. Any attachments (Stock, OEM, or Aftermarket) may be lower than the clearance bar, but you still need to use the Essential Wash ONLY to prevent damage. If you drive a truck with extra-wide pr tow mirrors, regardless of the wash level selected, fold them in just to be safe!

My Car is Low... how low can I go?

The minimum height to go through the Automatic wash is 4" of ground clearance. Beginning in 2024, Autowash locations will be converting to a new optical sensor system. This will allow us to remove the mid-bay guide rail and allow vehicles with any level of ground clearance to wash. Many locations have been converted and the remaining will be converted throughout 2024. Are Low Profile Wheels okay in the wash?

Low profile rims are defined as when the sidewall is less than 50% of the width of the tire. Vehicles with low-profile wheels may use the wash, however, because of the lack of tire protecting the rim, please take extra caution when driving into the bay.

 

The guide rails are installed to protect the machine and make sure the vehicle is located in the bay properly for the automatic machine to run safely.

 

Autowash is not responsible for damage caused by wheels rubbing against the protective guide rails.

Are Low Profile Wheels okay in the wash?

Can I wash my BIG truck in the automatic bay?

Yes, you can wash most pickup trucks in the Automatic, including extended long cabs, duallys, etc. Large wheels (up to 12" wide") are welcome.

 

Full-size trucks should FOLD IN their side view mirrors to prevent the wash from making contact with the mirrors

What is the maximum height of the Automatic Bay?

The Automatic Bays have a maximum clearance of 7'6". Because some of our wash levels have contouring features, just fitting below the clearance bar may not be enough.

Are Rear Spoilers safe in the wash?

Yes, if the spoiler is 6" or taller from the vehicle, you can use the

Essential wash level only.

 

A tall spoiler on any vehicle is an attachment that extends beyond the main body of the vehicle, limiting the level of the wash that may be selected. This includes the Subaru WRX STI, Honda Civic Type R, Ford Focus ST, and any other vehicle that may have a tall spoiler.

Why are there rails in the bay?

The guide rails in the bay are to make sure that the vehicle is located in the correct spot to safely begin the automatic wash and keep vehicles from running into the machine.

I have a rear-mounted spare tire, can I still use the wash?

Yes, you can use the Essential wash level only.

 

A rear-mounted tire on any vehicle is an attachment that extends beyond the main body of the vehicle, limiting the level of the wash that may be selected. This includes Jeep Wranglers, FJ Cruisers, and any other vehicle that may have a rear-mounted tire.

 

*WARNING: Vehicle owners who disregard the warning or caution signs on site will be responsible for damage caused to the machine by the attachment.

LOYALTY PROGRAM

How does the Autowash Loyalty Program work?

The Autowash Loyalty Program is available exclusively in the Autowash app. Every dollar spent in the app earns Autowash Clean Credits (points) that can then be redeemed for account credits, discounts, free washes, and more. Transactions that occur outside of the Autowash app are not eligible for loyalty rewards, unless otherwise specified. Rewards can be redeemed exclusively in the Autowash app. The Autowash app is free and no fee is required to participate in the Autowash loyalty program. Complete details can be found here.

Do the Autowash Loyalty points expire?

Autowash loyalty points, known as Clean Credits, expire exactly 6 months from the day which they are earned if not redeemed. No compensation or reimbursement will be provided for unredeemed Autowash Clean Credits.

How do I enroll in the Autowash Loyalty Program?

Enrollment is automatic when you download the Autowash app and set up your user profile. Our system will automatically calculate your Clean Credits every time you make an in-app purchase and apply those to your balance. Once you hit a rewards tier, simply redeem the Clean Credits in the app for your reward. It couldn't be easier and it's FREE!

FLEET

How does the Autowash Fleet work?

Keeping your fleet clean doesn't have to be a hassle! With Autowash fleet each user in your fleet account downloads the app to their phone. They use the app to access the wash at a discounted rate. You define the wash levels they have access to at a unique fleet-level discount. Our system then generates a simple, consolidated, bill and sends it directly to your fleet manager or administrator every month.

 

You have the ultimate control, adding and removing users, auditing wash activity, and more. Your fleet is a reflection of your brand... why not make that reflection clean and scratch-free with the ease of Autowash Fleet?

When will I be billed for my Autowash Fleet?

Billing for Autowash Fleet is handled automatically through your provided fleet manager portal. The fleet manager can update the payment information in the portal and at the end of each month, the usage is invoiced and the card on file is charged. No hassle and no fuss! Plus, it’s easy to update your card, add or remove users, or even turn your plan off.

Where can I use my fleet account?

Yes! You can use the app with more than one vehicle. The Autowash Fleet is based on the email address of the user, so if a user is responsible for multiple vehicles, they can use the wash as needed, as long as they have their device with their account on it with them.

 

As the fleet manager, you decide if a driver needs to wash 1x per day or can purchase additional wash time as needed.

How do I use the vacuums with Fleet membership?

Fleet users can get vacuum codes as they need. Select Vacuum from the menu in the app! Each vacuum code turns a vacuum on for 4 minutes and is the equivalent of $1.

Does Fleet include Self-Serve washing?

Yes. Fleet users are able to use the Self-Serve bays to wash your fleet. The app provides wash codes for your team to use the self-serve bay. They just enter the code and the bay turns on. Press the 'stop' button to turn the bay off when they are finished.

What type of vehicles can use an Autowash Fleet account?

We can wash almost any normal passenger size vehicle including trucks, vans, SUVs, and some larger vehicles with limitations. Our automatic touchless washes have displayed height limits of 7ft 6in and vehicles washing in these bays must obey the attachment rules. Anything that extends more than 6 inches beyond the main body of the vehicle, including ladder racks, rear-mounted spare tires, roof racks, storage boxes, and large trailer hitches is considered an attachment and limits the user to the Essential Wash only for their safety and the safety of our equipment.

 

Vehicles without attachments may use any of the automatic wash levels in the fleet plan. If an attachment extends 10 inches or more from the factory frame that vehicle cannot use the automatic wash. Our self-serve washes can accommodate larger vehicles or any vehicle with attachments. Please obey all maximum height warnings on site and if you have concerns or questions about a vehicle fitting into any of our wash bays contact our Customer Success Team at 303-927-9061 for guidance.
